FBLA District 2 Officer Fall Meeting FBLA officers from the 16 schools in District 2 participated in a full day of competition, leadership training, and a service project. The day concluded with the district’s planning meeting and a visit to Central Dairy. North Callaway’s FBLA officers won first place in the competitions! #ThunderbirdProud

National Junior Honor Society members from NCMS helped out today at the Loafers' Week lunch. This is the 64th annual Loafers' Week. It started as a one-day event at the grain elevator and has grown into a week-long celebration with lots of chances for folks to enjoy a visit and some loafing around. #ThunderbirdProud

The middle school softball team ended their season with a trip to Columbia to see the Mizzou Tigers play some Fall ball. They learned a lot and had a bit of fun!! #ThunderbirdProud #MizzouAthletics

🌞✨ Exciting things are happening in our STEM program! Thanks to the generous support of a teaching classroom grant from Callaway Electric Co-op, our students are diving into hands-on projects with solar panels! 2nd-hour students constructed cars from scratch and then added solar panels. 6th-hour students constructed solar-powered mills using circuits and solar panels. These innovative projects are not just about harnessing solar energy; they empower the next generation of engineers and scientists to think critically about sustainability and renewable resources. 🌱🔧 #STEM #SolarEnergy #FutureInnovators #CallawayElectricCoop #ThunderbirdProud

FBLA Career Day at Busch Stadium! North Callaway FBLA members, along with over 2,600 area students and educators, enjoyed a special pre-game Q&A/Panel Discussion with Cardinal’s executives focusing on careers in sports and media. Following the special presentation, students participated in an exclusive College Fair with representatives from many colleges and universities from around the Midwest. Following the presentation and the college fair, students attended the Cardinals vs. Reds game.

STEM kids have been learning about circuits this week and today they are creating a Tank 🚜or Airplane ✈️ including completing ⚡circuits ⚡to make them work. Thanks to Callaway Electric Cooperative for their Teacher Scholarship for Ms. Waller and the $500 classroom grant that allows students to put both digital and hands-on practice in basic electronics. #ThunderbirdProud
